Wairarapa’s beautiful rural valley is the ideal place for a special gathering.  

Whether you’re after the country feel of a refurbished barn or a vineyard wedding, there is more sophisticated rural charm here than you can shake a bouquet at!  Wairarapa is also well equipped and placed to host events, small to mid-size conferences and incentive programmes.  Our proximity to Wellington – just over an hour – means aligning with a larger event at Tākina, as a breakout location,  or pre or post destination is both practical and appealing.

Venues here are diverse. Parehua Resort, The Martinborough Hotel and Brackenridge Country Retreat & Day Spa, all are in the wine village of Martinborough, and are just a short walk or bike ride to charming cellar doors and vineyards.
